Close of Escrow
Closing Day
It is almost time for congratulation but first do not forget to tie up any loose ends:
Final Walk-Through Inspection.
The final inspection will take place the day before or the day of closing. The buyer will visit the property to verify that everything is in working order and placed the same as when the buyer last viewed the property.
Cancel Home Services and Utilities.
Be sure to cancel all of your services and utilities for the property.
Be Prepared.
If something on the property is to break down or the buyer’s loan does not pull through on time, there is no need to worry. We will assist you in handling everything efficiently and stress-free.
Closing.
The Title Company will supply all parties with a settlement statement. This statement summarizes the details and the financial transactions enacted in the process. The seller should arrange to have all property keys and any other important information for the new purchaser at closing.
